Lunar Nodes - What they are - How to work with them 

If you are not yet familiar with what a lunar node is, let's start here. The North Node and South Node points are directly opposite each other. They are not planetary bodies; they are  points that take into account the relationship between the Sun, Moon, and Earth at the time of our birth. 

The lunar nodes are said to be an indication of karmic “life lessons” in this life. Working with them in our natal chart can bring us to increased alignment and flow in our lives.  

The theory behind the Nodes of the Moon (the North Node and South Node) alludes to elements of our character that yearn for experience and education in certain aspects or qualities in our life. The Nodes of the Moon point us to these lesson. The South Node suggests our overdeveloped character traits that come natural to us, but that may undermine us if we hold on to these traits too tightly for security; while the North Node suggests the qualities that we need to develop in order to find inner balance.

The lunar nodes present at your birth speak to life lessons your soul has requested to work on in this lifetime. Every 18 months or so, the nodes shift, calling on humanity in general to work on "collective life lessons" 

On Jan 11th 2025, the lunar nodes shifted  from the Aires/ Libra axis into Pisces/ Virgo axis marking 18 months of growth in these particular areas of your natal chart. 

The shift to the Pisces-Virgo axis means we're entering a period focused on balancing intuition and practicality, dreaming and doing, and releasing old patterns to embrace new possibilities. The  lessons of this cycle will be felt in the areas of your chart where Pisces and Virgo fall, encouraging growth in those areas as well as the eclipses further emphasizing these themes for you.
